In comparison to the more affordable HS140, the HS180 is more powerful and lighter. Equipped with a 180mm blade as well as a LED operating display, the HS 180 electronic is especially useful for cutting polystyrene hard foam (DIN 4102). It can be used for straight or round U-cuts, for pipe and cable embedding as well as for clean cuts for ceiling or wall panels. Measured cuts on gable or pediments, difficult round cuts (for example electrical outlets) and various cuts on foam pipe insulation can be performed effortlessly. The hot knife is delivered with a practical suspension clip and a wire brush to clean the blade in a protecting plastic case.
